About this deal
The aliens search the universe for different musical styles but still believe the best is alien music!
I had a variety of jobs, including secretary, trainee buyer at Harrods, dental nurse, production assistant in a reprographic and printing company and various others. I found myself laughing out loud to this book. This is a great picture book for children about how aliens don't come down to earth to see us, but come for our underpants. It's a funny story and great for teachers or parents to read to the children, if they want a bit of a giggle. I am babysitting my nieces tonight and it is the eldest turn to choose the book for their bedtime story and she chosen this one. Aliens Love Underpants is a children's picture book written by Claire Freedman and illustrated by Ben Cort, which explores the relationship between aliens and undergarments.

When little aliens fly down to Earth, they don't come to visit because they want to meet the Earthlings. They simply want to steal everybody's underpants! They like them large or small, they like them red or green, and they like them in all other sizes and colors, too. They think that Mom's pink, frilly panties are a perfect place to hide. And Grandpa's woolly long johns make a super-whizzy slide! You'd never guess this was a silly book from the title! The 2yo loved this one, and liked looking for the cat which appeared in almost every picture (and doing what cats do).
Fasten your seat belts! The aliens are blasting off on a trip across the galaxy at the speed of light! The premise of the book is rather straightforward. Aliens come to Earth, not to interact with humanity, but with humanity's undergarments. Apparently, aliens love all sorts of undergarments and uses them an in myriad manner, which made my nieces laugh. It is a good story, but perhaps not one for bedtime. It’s a well-kept secret that Aliens love underpants. With none of their own in space, they are forced to visit earth to try on yours! We loved this book so much and it's funny whenever we read it! My five year old and I have a private joke concerning underpants-once I used his small underpants to shoo a fly out of the room, and ever since he laughs when he sees me holding his underwear.
This zany, hilarious tale is delightfully brought to life by Ben Cort's vibrant illustrations. With a madcap, rhyming text by award-winning Claire Freedman, this is sure to enchant and amuse the whole family! The first thing that drew me to this book was the vibrant illustrations on the front cover and the interesting title. Any book which has 'Aliens' and 'Underpants' in the title, for me, is a must read! This book provides a hilarious and unique insight into what Aliens actually look for when flying around the universe, and it is not humans. As there are no underpants in space, Aliens fly to earth to find some. They like all different kinds, and enjoy participating in various races and competitions such as how many Aliens can fit in one leg! However, there is one pair of underpants which Aliens love the sight of, which are of course, "Granny's spotted bloomers". I think I would just read this book to children at the end of the day, instead of basing a unit of work around it. Having said this, children could write a similar story about a different monster coming down from space to explore something human. This book was the main theme of a reception class for the week and they loved it. It applied to many lessons throughout the week including; I began to write after joining a creative writing class. I had no success with article writing, or short stories, or fiction, but the first children’s story I wrote, for a magazine called Twinkle, was accepted for publication. Hooray!!!
