It is extremely important that you only use Tommee Tippee antibacterial Perfect Prep Filters with the Perfect Prep Machine. Before first use you need to run a cleaning cycle – which should take approximately 10 minutes. For hygiene and safety reasons you should clean your unit on a regular basis. The Perfect Prep is compatible with any brand of bottle and any type of formula milk. It provides a shot of water at 70 degrees centigrade to kill any bacteria that may be present in the formula. Then you simply add the required amount of powdered milk into the water and shake to dissolve. The Perfect Prep automatically tops the bottle up with the required amount of water. Press the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash. It’s therefore possible for the combination of both tolerances, machine, and bottle, to make the volume dispensed by the machine appear inaccurate.
