Starting in May 2018, illustrator Jiro Oimoto began adapting the story into the BOFURI manga series. Serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Comp Ace magazine, the BOFURI manga was up to Volume 6 as of August 26, 2022.

I could easily write paragraphs upon paragraphs breaking down such stuff - simply because there IS stuff to break down. There is depth. Best of all, it’s subtle and unobtrusive, the audience isn’t being beaten over the head with who thinks what about whom, it’s just there between the lines, not taking away the screen-time from the show’s main substance, but present to be seen by anyone who has the eyes and the brain to see it. Maybe not everyone does, which is why this aspect of the show goes underappreciated. Some of Silver Link’s projects have been renewed for sequels in 2023. The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 release date is in 2023. The My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! movie release date is also in 2023 ( My Next Life as a Villainess Season 3 hasn’t been announced yet). The Our Last Crusade Or The Rise Of A New World Season 2 release date is also in 2023. The Masamune-kun no Revenge Season 2 release date is also in 2023. This Christmas visual was released on December 17, 2022. Pic credit: Studio Silver Link The first season of the anime was decent, as it had a clear direction and a "little" interesting aspect, despite not being an Isekai.

I remember watching a few CGI moments from S1, thinking how better it would've been if it was 2D, and the animators did make most things 2D in S2. Not saying it's flawless though, there are many blink-&-u-miss shots and also a fair amount of CGI monsters, especially in final episode (probably a result of delay). But the direction during its action sequences keeps things engaging despite the flaws. The music is your generic isekai/fantasy OST. Nothing noteworthy there. Honestly, season 1 was a pretty great ride, it was interesting and had you wanting to see more and now maybe I regret that.
