About this deal
Improve the Sacred Flask to carry more charges and make it heal and refill Focus Points more efficiently. You’ll get a Spirit Calling Bell and Lone Wolf Ashes early in your game, and every time you see a ghostly gravestone icon on the left of your screen, you can summon the spectral wolves for help, for the cost of some FP, which stands for Force Points — that’s the blue bar in the upper left corner of your screen. This is a great way to get into the habit of calling for help early in the game.
From here, you will just need to climb the ladder and fight your way through several caverns, across precarious edges, and up more ladders. It’s a challenging route, but one that contains bosses and useful gear. There is really one one route through, with some side hallways. You're basically always looking for a ladder or an elevator. It indicates how long it will take for you to change to and from an abnormal state. A list of abnormal states can be found below I think summons (all of them) are the way it’s meant to be experienced. Radahn part is quite the comedy with them as it’s intended to be.
Kinda sad they didn't expand upon the Mound-Makers covenant idea from Dark Souls 3 (Don't remember if they existed in Dark Souls 1 or if they had something similiar). Basically you could invade/help others by either using a sign or the invader item which turned you into a purple phantom based on if you had Mound-Makers covenenat equipped. The meaning of purple meant you were an enemy of both invaders and hosts/phantoms, but you could put down a sign which made you a wild card for those who dared to choose you as a partner, since your objective is to kill anyone you please even if someone spawned you in as a "supposed" friend.
So I leave the Capital hardly fighting a knight and running away from that tree dragon monster thing. I did beat the minor tree avatar, guy was too slow and big for even me to lose too. I'm supposed to find dungeaters body, I gave him the seedbed seed I'd found while I was seeing the 2 Finger Crone and buying that 55FP ghoult summon (which the stupid bandit just laughed at), but that can wait until I level up a bit more exploring the mountains. There are 2 map locations on the map, those are my next 2 stops. Oh and turning on Morgott's great rune. I can't even see a tower on the map that looks like it may be it. My kid has told me where all the other ones were, sometimes they make sense, sometimes they don't. 🤷♂️ In the Lands Between ruled by Queen Marika the Eternal, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree, has been shattered.
