About this deal

We are immediately drawn into the terrible lives and experiences of the characters, and the evil gang which is transporting them. The DCI Ryan books delve into the history of North East England, using local myths, legends and cults to drum up plots. While the books have been advertised as intense thrillers, they are hardly the darkest psychological dramas in the world.

Publication Order of DCI Ryan Books

Already suspended from Northumbria CID, Ryan must fight to clear his name. But soon, more than his career is at stake when prominent members of the mysterious Circle begin to die. It begins with the story of Gabrielle Adams who has escaped to rural Cornwall to run a tiny bookshop and escape the horror of her life after she survives an encounter with the “Underground Killer” waiting for the Tube to arrive one day. While she thinks the picturesque cove offers her the perfect escape, a new nightmare soon unfolds. However, she found herself dissatisfied after a decade working in law where every day was a battle and she longed for a change.

The Rock: A DCI Ryan Mystery (The DCI Ryan Mysteries) by LJ

Wonderfully descriptive of Northumberland and researched so that you can visualise every scene . Thank you LJRoss Reply My big question is when will your new books be out Be it the Ryan or the Alex Gregory books all are fantastic.. Gregory galivants across the world in this series, from Ireland to France to New York City and more. In this series Ross’s writing is described as her usual murder and mystery peppered with dark humour.Could these books possibly be made into a television series. The locations are fantastic and the leading characters both strong and have good storylines. While she will always be a northerner at heart, she currently lives with her husband and their son in Bath on the outskirts of London where she spends her days writing her detective mysteries. Ross loved books from a very early age when she would find old books from her mother’s chest that she would staple and illustrate during her middle school years. Even as she has a varied taste in the types of novels that she reads, and will not mind reading the odd women’s fiction or a romance.
