The smaller models are called the ‘Split Pad Compact’ and actually already available today in White & Red variants. Nonetheless, I actually need a new case (compact specific) so I'll likely get this new white TotK one, looks pretty decent

Feels really great and definitely recommended if you can take not having gyro/vibration.As always, unfortunately the controllers don't have the functionality that you'd come to expect from the joycon or pro-controllers. It's a shame, since I really like these designs. I love my hori but had to switch to the Binbok since they have rumble and motion control. The d pad is horrendous though. Lol.

I think I prefer Power-A controllers to Hori, but these are pretty neat. I like my Pac-Man Split Pad Pro, although it feels like it's made of cheap plastic, and there's a small gap on the sides that pinch and chafe the palms of your hands. Not very comfortable. I'd be curious to try out whatever that thing on the far-right is. Basically their Split Pad Pro but slimmer and seemingly more comfortable-looking. I've seen some of them in stores recently in just a generic solid color, but this is the first themed one I've seen.
Olmectron Yes, the split pad compact is not perfect for Zelda without motion controls, unfortunately I end up swapping them for normal joycons when I need that or use the Switch Pro Controller. I can understand the appeal of gyro aiming for TotK and why you'd prefer a controller that can offer that.
